While I thought I'd seen it all in Bali, it turns out I'm not even close. Last weekend a group of friends and I drove for an hour along winding mountain roads through local villages until we reached this incredible viewpoint in the hills of Karangasem. With my desire to explore this island reignited, I can't wait for the adventures to come over the next few weeks. I hope you all had a great weekend! πŸŒ‹πŸŒ³

With more than 10,000 sangha members, its thought to be the largest concentration of monks and nuns in the world. Although it's now closed off to foreigners, I'm hoping to make it back one day! πŸšπŸ™πŸΌ

The day before my favourite sunrise of 2018, my first Mavic Pro decided to wander off into the mountains surrounding Xingping, a small village on the banks of the Li River. We found a replacement drone later that afternoon, and headed out to the location above at 5am the following morning. It seemed only right that I'd forget to switch from JPEG to RAW file format... To top it off, my camera's SD card became corrupted before I had the chance to copy the rest of the photos over. A successful shoot? I think so β›°πŸŒΎ

I'm looking forward to (hopefully) returning to this beautiful city in September! A few weeks back I hosted an editing challenge for my course students, where each member had the chance to edit the shot you see above. It was incredible to see each of the different edits that were created, an even inspired me to revisit this image once more... πŸ™βœ¨

I last visited Japan back in December for a week-long road trip with @adobe and @visitjapanjp While driving through Aichi Prefecture we made a quick stop at the hippest Buddha statue in town. What was even cooler to me was that I had the pleasure of meeting the son of the man who built it. Hoping I'll be able to return to Japan for the cherry blossoms next year - who's with me? πŸ‘“πŸ’

Currently looking forward to the summer of 2021! With the situation out here in Bali rapidly changing, it looks as though we may have to leave in just under one months time - were not too sure where to head. Any recommendations? πŸšπŸ”

Over the last week or so, I've been looking through my photos from the last 4 years, and this one ranks right up there with my favourites. While the scene and atmosphere seemed almost too good to be true, it was the months of research, planning and splash of luck that led me to arrive here that really made it that much more special. I had planned on spending an entire 6 months of 2020 in China, shooting and preparing for a coffee table book I've wanted to release for some, but I guess for now that'll have to wait! What's your favourite travel memory from the past few years? πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸŒΎπŸƒ

Once the world opens back up again, Australia sure is a place Id like to see more of - any recommendations? Would you believe that some of these individual beach boxes have sold for more than $300,000?! πŸ πŸ–

The city that never sleeps. From the ultramodern urban skyscrapers, to traditional temples and sprawling parks, Tokyo has it all. For those wondering, I shot this handheld using the motion blur technique with a 70-200mm lens at 1/13s! πŸš†πŸŒƒ
